
PAPAR: The State Government approved an allocation of RM3.5 million for the construction of a mini stadium at the Sekolah Menengah Agama Negeri (Sman) Toh Puan Hajah Rahmah.
Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (KSTI) who is also the Education Exco, Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif, said the allocation was approved by the Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
“God willing, we will conduct the groundbreaking ceremony at the latest by next year.
“We will (build the mini stadium) according to standards to facilitate our students in conducting training or competitions based on existing sports standards.

He said this when met by reporters after officiating the closing ceremony of the Sabah State Religious Secondary School Sports Council (MSSMAN) at the SMAN Toh Puan Hajah Rahman school field, here, Thursday.
Commenting on programmes, Mohd Arifin said his party proposes to implement competitions involving language activities such as public speaking and presentations at the Borneo level.
