PETALING JAYA: The Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) will receive RM300,000 in 2027 to continue developing its Medan Niaga business centre in Mukah.

The allocation will fund preliminary works, construction of the business premises, mechanical and electrical works, as well as landscaping.

Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said this in his winding-up speech on the Economy Ministry’s Budget 2027 committee-stage debate in the Dewan Rakyat today.

He said the project was aimed at increasing the income of local and Bumiputera entrepreneurs.

The RM300,000 allocation is for a continuing physical development project under the 2027 Budget.
