
KOTA BELUD: Some 147 Form Six students of SMK Narinang here received RM35,860 contribution from Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Datuk Ewon Benedict.
The Kadamaian Assemblyman hoped the contribution would inject enthusiasm and motivation to the students continue to excel in their studies and improve the living standards of the family in the future.
“It is my responsibility as a representative to meet the needs of the people not only on education but development of sports, infrastructure, entrepreneurship and welfare and fully understand the difficulties they faced,” he said.
He advised students to respect their parents, teachers and friends as they struggle to make a living to ensure that their children receive the best education.

Apart from SMK Narinang, he will also present educational contributions to all primary and secondary schools in Kadamaian.
At the event, Ewon also presented RM4,000 contribution to SMK Narinang Integration Special Education Programme (PPKI).
Meanwhile, SMK Narinang Principal Soo Yong Huat thanked Ewon for the “Danasiswa” to the school’s Form Six 6 students.
He hoped the parents would encourage and support their children so that they would be successful in their studies.
