RM4 million for Special Programme for Sabah Natives to empower human capital

KENINGAU: About RM4 million has been allocated for the human capital development under the Special Programme for Sabah Natives (PKAN) this year, said the Director General of the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister’s Department, Dato Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Haji Abdul Aziz.

He said out the total allocation RM2.3 million was meant for Sabah Handicraft Centre to carry out programmes under the Rural Integrated Craft Heritage (RICH) as well as the Bamboo and Rattan Raw Material Planting (PPBM) expected to benefit some 160 participants.

“This shows that the government always supports efforts to drive, strive and strengthen human capital development in Sabah in line with the goals and direction of Sabah Maju Jaya initiated by the State Government.
