
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Muaythai Association has received a RM50,000 sponsorship from Centre Point Sabah Shopping Mall in preparation for the upcoming Sukma Selangor this year.
The contribution through Centre Point Sabah’s #CPCares Initiative 2026 was presented by Meredith H. Madani, Public Relations Executive of Centre Point Sabah Shopping Mall together with Dymna Micheal, Head of Events & Arts Section at the State Training Centre Revolution Combat Gym in Penampang recently.
Sabah Muaythai Association president Hj. Nazri Ab Razak, who received the mock cheque, expressed his thanks to the Mall for their commitment to supporting the association.
“On behalf of the Sabah Muaythai Association, our athletes, coaches, officials and the entire Muaythai community, I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Centre Point Sabah Shopping Mall for this generous sponsorship.
“This support comes at a crucial time as our athletes continue their preparations for Sukma Selangor 2026 while also representing Sabah and Malaysia on the international stage.
“It is also an investment in the future of Sabah sports and a testament to Centre Point Sabah’s commitment towards youth development and sporting excellence.
“This support represents a strong vote of confidence in our athletes, motivating them to focus entirely on training, preparation, and performance as they strive to bring pride and honour to Sabah,” he said.
Also present to witness the ceremony were Sabah Sports Council officials Kartina Dumin and Christle Easter Michael.
