Rob Gronkowski has taken aim at Logan Paul after the YouTuber-turned-WWE star pulled out of a proposed $1 million fight with former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell.
The controversy began when Paul publicly challenged NFL players to face him in a boxing match, with $1 million from each side placed in escrow.
Bell quickly accepted the challenge, but the fight never materialized after Paul cited restrictions linked to his WWE commitments.

Rob Gronkowski says Logan Paul ducked Le’Veon Bell’s fight
Speaking on the Up & Adams Show, Gronkowski suggested Paul backed out of the bout despite initially calling for it.
“Yeah, well, I saw Logan just duck Le’Veon Bell. They were supposed to fight. They were supposed to put $1 million each in escrow. And Logan Paul had the WWE owner call him and say, oh, you can’t do it.
“Logan Paul, what if you get hurt? I just feel like he backed out, and that was just his excuse. He should have just came out and said, ‘Actually, I don’t want to do it,'” Gronkowski said.
Paul had previously challenged NFL players to step into the ring for the $1 million exhibition bout. Bell accepted the offer publicly, setting up what looked like a high-profile crossover fight.
However, the matchup collapsed after Paul said WWE would not allow him to risk injury while under contract with the company.
Rob Gronkowski blasts Logan Paul for using WWE as an excuse
Gronkowski did not hold back when discussing the situation.
“But instead, he had backup, and then he put the call online as well, like, hey, look, I can’t do it because WWE said I can’t do it. Like, that’s the biggest c___ of all time,” Gronkowski continued.
“I mean, you don’t just call people out, and then it happens, and then you back out like that; it just shows that he’s a flake. And on top of it, I saw that he was actually commenting as well, that he could whoop my a__,” the NFL legend concluded.
The former Patriots star suggested Paul should not have issued the challenge if he was not prepared to follow through.
The fallout has fueled further tension between Paul and several current and former NFL players. The cancelled fight continues to be a talking point across both the boxing and football worlds.
