Robert Irwin has opened up on his friendship with the Prince of Wales, as he praised the royal as a “down-to-earth human being”.
Appearing on This Morning on Wednesday (24 June), the conservationist gleamed as he said he has “become best mates with our future King”.
Irwin, who is an ambassador for Prince William’s Earthshot Prize, described William as a “down-to-earth human being” as he told a story of the royal calling him during Dancing With The Stars rehearsals to wish him luck.
Asked by hosts Cat Deely and Ben Shephard if Irwin has William’s number saved on his phone, he joked: “On speed dial.”
