- The actor told GQ in 2020 that he had no intention of working out to play the character, and had been ignoring calls put to him by a personal trainer hired by Warner Bros.
- But the star later admitted this was a joke, adding he thinks “it’s really embarrassing to talk about how you’re working out. I think it’s like an English thing”.
- Now, speaking to GQ again, he clarified that he “worked out every f***ing day” for the 2022 film.
- Pattinson, known for teasing journalists, also admitted he was “trying to sound cool” by badmouthing working out.
