THE State Government expects the tourism sector in Sabah to continue to show robust growth not only this year but also next year as Sabah remains a preferred tourist destination.
Masidi said Sabah, as of June this year, has recorded 1.2 million tourist arrivals with an estimated RM2.45 billion in tourism receipts.
“This shows a 69.1 per cent increase compared to only 708,641 visitors with RM1.19 billion in tourism receipts for the same period last year,” he said.
