ROCKWELL Land Corp. said Wednesday that it was expanding in Cebu under a strategy of building integrated communities outside Metro Manila.
Cebu continues to be a key growth market under long-term expansion plans that are being driven by strong economic activity, improving connectivity and a sustained appetite for high-quality developments, it added.
The entry into Cebu began with 32 Sanson by Rockwell, its first residential project in the province.
Now on its 12th year, the company said its developments were continuing to generate steady demand, supported by resale and leasing activity as well as property management services.
Its Cebu portfolio includes 32 Sanson and Aruga Resort and Residences-Mactan that represent two distinct lifestyle offerings: an urban garden community and a beachfront development in Punta Engaño.
Aruga Mactan features a 270-meter shoreline, positioned as a resort-style residential development.
The project has already turned over its first tower while a second residential tower has been launched.
Rockwell said the development was continuing to see strong leasing and turnover activity.
In Cebu City, meanwhile, it is developing Rockwell at IPI Center, a 3.6-hectare mixed-use estate in partnership with International Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IPI).
“As Rockwell at IPI Center grows, we are building a highly connected, mixed-use community that brings together residential, office, retail and lifestyle components designed for long-term value creation,” the company said.
Rockwell Land’s share price rose by 3 centavos to close at P2.27 each on Wednesday.
