
Singer Rod Stewart has shared a major career update after he was forced to cancel the remainder of his US and Mexico tour dates last month to have a coronary stent fitted.
The 81-year-old has now announced his final tour for next year, although told fans this doesn’t mean he is retiring.
In a video message to fans, posted on Monday (28 September), Stewart said: “After much deliberation and sadness, I am going to announce next year is my last tour forever, ever.
“I am not retiring but this will be my last rock and roll tour
“Thank you for everything you have given me and hopefully I have given you something in return.”
