The general availability of the new ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM and PG32UCWM gaming monitors has been announced for Malaysia, bringing 4K true Tandem RGB OLED technology to enthusiast setups in two sizes of 26.5 inches and 31.5 inches, respectively.
Both models are powered by a true RGB Stripe OLED panel, which skips the white subpixel found in conventional WOLED displays for better text edges and color accuracy while delivering up to 27% more color volume, even at peak brightness. A 0.03ms response time is meant to keep fast-paced games free of ghosting and motion blur.
The TrueBlack Glossy material provides balanced visual fidelity in different environments and lighting intensity. For refresh rate, the dual Mode feature lets it switch between 4K at 240Hz and FHD at 480Hz natively.
For HDR and color work, both monitors support Dolby Vision, meet VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black standards, and offer 99% DCI-P3 coverage with true 10-bit color and Delta E<2 accuracy, aimed at delivering deep blacks and accurate color across games and other content.
On durability, the monitors use GaNFET power supply technology to cut waste heat by nearly 35% and lower vent temperatures by about 10% compared to previous OLED models without it, and that’s paired with an upgraded OLED Care Pro suite, including a Neo Proximity Sensor with five adjustable motion sensitivity levels and a configurable Auto Away timer that can trigger a screensaver after 1 to 15 minutes of inactivity, all manageable through the ASUS DisplayWidget Center app.
Meanwhile, the new Display Control CLI and Agent Skill have been introduced to let users adjust monitor settings through natural language and coordinate multiple settings at once. The CLI runs these commands locally while the agent handles translating user requests into supported actions.
Here are some examples of how to use it:
- Schedule a brighter profile that kicks in during the morning
- Use a warmer tone and turn on Low Blue Light during evening
- Launch sRGB mode during color-critical work
- Enable anti-flick and FHD 480Hz when starting a game
Connectivity is built for newer hardware too, including DisplayPort 2.1a with UHBR20 for 80Gbps bandwidth, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90-watt power delivery for single-cable laptop connections.
The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM and PG32UCWM are expected to arrive in Malaysia around October.
