SHAH ALAM - Sungai Perak assemblyman Ronnie Liu says he will quit DAP soon.
"I will be quitting the party soon and will be issuing a statement,” said the Sungai Pelek assemblyman," he was quoted in The Star.
The veteran politician has been the Sungai Pelek state assemblyman since 2018.
The vocal politician was also Selangor Local Government, Research and Development exco from 2008-2015.
Three years ago, he criticised former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed, the Bersatu chief for not adhering to the idelogy of Pakatan Harapan.
Bersatu members had then distanced themselves from Liu, who was subsequently summoned to appear before the DAP disciplinary committee.
