Players and support staff of Royal Challengers Bengaluru arrived in Dharamsala on Saturday ahead of their crucial IPL qualifier-1 clash against Gujarat Titans scheduled to be played on May 26 at the picturesque HPCA Stadium.

The team reached the Kangra airport amid tight security arrangements and was greeted by enthusiastic cricket fans, who gathered in a large number to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars. Several supporters were seen waving RCB flags and chanting slogans as players made their way out of the airport.

The high-voltage playoff encounter has generated massive excitement among cricket enthusiasts in Himachal Pradesh, with hotel bookings in Dharamsala witnessing a sharp rise ahead of the match.

Led by their star-studded line-up, RCB will look to continue their impressive form in the tournament and secure a direct berth to the IPL final. Gujarat Titans have already arrived in Dharamsala for the much-anticipated clash. While RCB and GT had nine wins and five losses in the league stage, the former are the table-toppers on the basis of a better run rate.

The scenic Dharamsala stadium, known for its breathtaking backdrop of the Dhauladhar ranges, is set to host one of the biggest matches of the IPL season. Cricket fans from across Himachal and neighbouring states are expected to throng the venue for the playoff fixture.

Security has also been tightened in and around the stadium area.
