Russia and Ukraine again launched heavy attacks against each other with drones and missiles overnight.

In the southern Russian port city of Taganrog on the Sea of Azov, two people were injured in a missile strike. They were taken to hospital, Mayor Svetlana Kambulova said on Telegram.

According to the independent online portal Astra, an aircraft repair plant was hit in the attack. There were also hits in Tuapse, Voronezh and Crimea, Astra reported.

In Tuapse on the Black Sea, the local refinery reportedly was yet again the target of an attack. The extent of the damage is still unclear. Also drone debris caused a fire in the port area, according to officials. In Voronezh, a military airfield was said to have been hit.

In Crimea, which Russia illegally annexed in 2014, there were impacts in the capital Simferopol and the naval port of Sevastopol. The port city was attacked with drones and cruise missiles, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said.

He reported damage to a branch of the Russian central bank and a residential building. No one was harmed, he said.

Media reports of an impact on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet have not yet been officially confirmed.

Russian attacks on Ukraine leave six injured

On the other side, six people, including a minor, were injured by Russian attacks in the eastern Ukrainian region of Dnipropetrovsk.

The Russian military used drones, artillery and guided glide bombs in the attacks, Military Governor Oleksandr Hansha wrote.

There were also impacts in the Chernihiv region north of Kiev, he said. A company in the city was damaged, but there were no injuries, the head of the local military administration, Dmytro Bryshynskyi, said.
