MOSCOW: The Kremlin has dismissed a Financial Times report alleging Russia is preparing to ship drones to Iran as “lies”.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday not to pay attention to such media falsehoods.
The Financial Times report, published on Wednesday, cited Western intelligence officials claiming Russia would complete the drone deliveries by the end of March.
Russia is a close ally of Iran but denies providing military aid since US and Israeli attacks on the country began in February.
The Washington Post reported earlier this month that Moscow had shared sensitive intelligence with Tehran, including locations of US warships and aircraft in the region.
