Presenter Ruth Langsford broke down in tears on Loose Women after the sad death of her family dog, Maggie.
The 66-year-old shared the pet with her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes, and regularly posted videos and photos of her on social media.
The Loose Woman star revealed that Maggie died at the age of 16, last week, and opened up about her grief during Monday’s show (19 October).
Fighting back the tears, she said: “It was her time, she was 16. People say to you ‘you just know’ and I just knew.”
