The accident involved a Ferrari driven by a 34-year-old Singaporean man, along with a 33-year-old Singaporean woman who was seated in the front passenger seat.

Ferrari reportedly lost control before catching fire

Yusof said the Ferrari allegedly lost control before crashing, causing both victims to suffer severe injuries.

“The vehicle then skidded and was involved in an accident, which caused both victims to sustain severe bodily injuries, catch fire, and die at the scene,” he said.

Their bodies were later sent to the Forensic Unit at Kota Tinggi Hospital for further investigation procedures.

Police are currently investigating the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

Police also reminded road users to always comply with traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety on the roads.
