
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah reached its tourist arrival target of 1.3 million within just 10 months this year, said State Tourism, Culture and Environment Assistant Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai.
“As of October, Sabah received a total of 1.34 million visitors with RM2.4 billion in tourism receipts,” he said, in his Ministry’s winding-up speech, at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, here.
This, he said, is a huge increase of 752.9 per cent compared to the previous year.
