
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Government has no knowledge of a reported plan to co-host the 2027 SEA Games, Sabah Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun has reportedly said.
He said the Sabah Government was not aware of such a plan, let alone a reported commitment of RM100 million for the regional sporting event, the Overseas Chinese Daily News reported.
"I'm not aware of it, and the State Government has never made such a commitment," he was quoted as saying to reporters at a dinner event last night.
