Kota Kinabalu: Sabah DAP Women has reaffirmed its unity and support for Pakatan Harapan’s “6-3-3” plan to field 12 women candidates in the upcoming state election.

The initiative, led by Sabah PH Women Chief Datuk Jannie Lasimbang, follows two years of groundwork involving preparation, training, and grassroots engagement to ensure women candidates are ready for leadership.

Sabah DAP Women Chief Bronica Sikula (pic) said the effort reflects the coalition’s commitment to achieving 30 per cent women’s participation in politics while promoting a more inclusive and capable state government.

She also acknowledged the recent departure of Liau Fui Fui and her branch, expressing gratitude for their past contributions and reaffirming that the movement will continue to strengthen its resolve.

Bronica said the development serves as motivation for the women’s wing to work harder and remain united in championing justice, inclusivity, and the wellbeing of the people.
