KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Dusunic Carnival will be held in Apin-Apin, Keningau next month to promote and preserve the Dusunic language and culture.

Sabah Dusunic Languages Preservation Association president Datuk Lawrence Gimbang said the carnival will include speech and poetry competitions, cultural attire showcases, and language workshops.

He said the initiative aims to encourage the continued use of the Dusunic language among younger generations.

He also announced that a Dusunic Language Workshop will be held in Bongawan this August.
