Kota Kinabalu: Sabah FC II need to bounce back quickly to avoid being labelled as the MFL’s “punch bag” following their 0-6 to Selangor PKNS FC at UiTM Stadium on Wednesday.
Newly appointed head coach Alto Linus who only had a few days to prepare the team for the Selangor game after replacing Johnny Dominicus last week said the whole team had to work extra hard to ensure they could get positive results in the coming matches.
“There is a lot of homework to be done to ensure that Sabah FC II can bounce back quickly following the losing streaks since the start of the season.
“We have also conceded a large number of goals and my main focus now is of course to identify and rectify the weaknesses in the team and at the same time I will try to make them more organised based on the tactics applied.
