
KOTA KINABALU: The State Government has welcomed the return of MV Doulos Hope to Sabah, with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor praising its mission of spreading knowledge, fostering cultural exchange, and promoting unity.
The ship, which last visited two years ago, will dock in Kota Kinabalu for three weeks with more than 100 international volunteers from over 30 countries.
Hajiji said the vessel’s global literacy and education efforts embody hope and strengthen cross-cultural understanding.
He also encouraged the crew, led by Director Nidhin Sebastian and Captain Graeme Bird, to experience Sabah’s attractions and hospitality during their stay.
