Kota Kinabalu: Sabah may have something distinct to offer to swimmers, especially open water swimmers, which the peninsula does not have.
This was shared by an open water swimmer, Wee-Li Chong, who did an unprecedented open water swim (OWS) with two other swimmers from the peninsula on March 18.
The three swam 20 kilometres to five islands – from Tanjung Aru to Gaya Island, then Sapi, Manukan, Sulug, Mamutik Islands, before heading back to Tanjung Aru.
