SANDAKAN: Three assemblymen joined a group of some 200 consumers, Friday, to submit a memorandum to the Sabah Water Department demanding a solution to problems faced in the district, especially salty water and disrupted water supply.
Present were Elopura Assemblyman Calvin Chong, Sekong Assemblyman Alias Sani and Sungai Manila Assemblyman Mokran Ingkat as well as former local leaders.
They expressed, among other things, concern about the saltwater in the clean water supply being used every day for the past four months, in addition to the frequent water supply interruptions that make daily activities difficult.
