Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Cross-Border Trade Association (SCBTA) is taking a proactive approach to boost cross-border trade, with President Razanah Paimin championing the promotion of halal products as a key driver for economic growth.

“The demand for halal products is increasing globally especially in Mindanao in Philippines, and Sabah is well-positioned to capitalise on this trend,” said Razanah during a press conference, recently.

“Our association is committed to supporting local businesses in producing and exporting high-quality halal products to neighbouring markets, particularly the Philippines,” she stressed.
