Kota Kinabalu: Sabah and Selangor stand to gain from each other’s Islamic Affairs policies.
Selangor Islamic Religion and Innovation Culture Executive Councillor Dr Mohammad Fahmi Ngah lauded Sabah for being the first in the country to digitise Islamic marriage certificates last Friday.
“In Selangor only the application forms are digital. Divorce cases are rising which is a challenge correlated with modernisation.
“This is the start of a collaboration between states that have an Exco for both islamic affairs and education portfolios.
