Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Karate Association (SKA) will have 17 athletes taking part in the MSN National Talents Carnival Karate competition starting tomorrow (Friday) at MSN’s gymnasium II in Kuala Lumpur.

SKA secretary general Julian Chin said they are not setting any medal target for the athletes in the two-day competition and the trip is only for them to gain exposure.

“All the athletes have been training under their respective clubs for the past two weeks in preparation for the competition.

“We are not putting any undue pressure on them by setting a target. We believe it is important for them to learn from the experience at this stage,” he said .
