
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Karate Association (SKA) will be sending a six-member team to participate in the 2nd Asian Youth Open Championship cum Training Camp hosted by Asian Karate Federation and organised by Chinese Karate Association in Linping, Hangzhou, China from August 12-16.
The contingent left for China on Monday morning is led by coaches Farlin Veroney M Frederick and Mahfudz Azeem Ag Hashim.
The athletes are Al Zovainz Zurizal, Neyo Chai Xiao Le, Danish Rayyan Rajis, Muhammad Farish Danish Mohd Saidin, Putra Rayn Nazwan Heryzuan and Muhd Noah Hidayatullah accompanied by their parents.

At the same meet last year held in Wuhan, China, SKA represented by 19 athletes finished seventh overall in the club category with one gold, five silvers and four bronzes.
