KOTA KINABALU: Kinabalu Pink Ribbon has rebranded as Sabah Kinabalu Pink Ribbon, marking its recognition as a state-level organisation dedicated to breast cancer awareness and support in Sabah.

The name change reflects an expanded mission to empower and educate communities, strengthening advocacy and support services for patients and families.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the organisation has introduced a new executive committee for the 2024-2026 term, with Christy Fe Salazar as President.

A series of fundraising events, including the 13th Mother’s Day Walk Abreast in May, the Pink Walk in Keningau in August, and the Pink Run in Tawau in November, will support its initiatives.

Sabah Kinabalu Pink Ribbon remains committed to early detection advocacy, patient support, and collaborations with healthcare professionals and government agencies.
