
TAWAU: Chief Advisor of the Silat Gayong Association of Malaysia (PSSPGM), Brig. General (R) Tan Sri Datuk Liew Yun Fah, congratulated the Sabah Silat team for emerging overall champions in the 2023 Jebat Cup 294 Open Silat Championship at Titiwangsa Stadium in Kuala Lumpur recently.
They won 3 golds, 1 silver and 3 bronzes besides becoming overall champions.
Shahzanie Syuhana Sumail, 9, managed to clinch the gold.
The Sabah Silat team and entourage led by former national silat coach Emy Latip paid a courtesy call on Liew, who sponsored the team, upon their return.
