KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has criticised Warisan for allegedly mocking Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim while flood victims were still struggling with the aftermath of recent disasters.
It's chairman, Datuk Mustapha Sakmud said the party welcomed Warisan’s involvement in assisting those affected by floods and landslides but condemned what he described as inappropriate political manoeuvres during a time of mourning.
“What upset us was not the aid, but the political programmes staged while people were suffering,” he told reporters during a press conference at his Sepanggar office, Inanam, Saturday.
Mustapha stressed that politics should not be taken to the extreme to the point where respect is lost.
