Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA) in collaboration with ExxonMobil successfully organised the first ExxonMobil Signature Polymers Sabah Roadshow on 27 November 2024 at the Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu.
A total of 32 participants comprising plastic packaging manufacturers and food & beverage manufacturers from MPMA Sabah, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers - Sabah Branch and Small & Medium Enterprises under the auspices of the Department of Industrial Development & Research and Sirim Sabah benefitted from the informative session.
AdvertisementDuring the session, ExxonMobil shared cutting-edge industrial packaging solution examples that could help unlock potential cost-saving and sustainability benefits such as downgauging, incorporation of recycled content and designed for recycling.
Other topics covered included advanced shrink film and flexible packaging solutions as well as innovative breakthrough solutions in rigid segments such as blow moulding and roto-moulding.
