
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded a new all-time low of 76 Covid-19 cases on Friday from 82 the day earlier.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the decrease corresponded with a lower number of test samples, which was 1,411 on Friday, from 1,536 the day earlier. The positivity rate remained similar at 5.39 per cent.
Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 19 cases, followed by Tuaran (12), Kota Belud (8), Penampang (8), Lahad Datu (6), Tawau (5) and Kuala Penyu (4).
“Fourteen districts did not record any new infections,” said Masidi in a statement, Friday.
He said 75 out of 76 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was recorded in category five.
No deaths or new clusters were identified.
