Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s caseload spiked back up to 115 on Wednesday after hitting an all-time low of 79 the day earlier.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the spike was due to an increased positive rate, which was 6.98 per cent.
Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 19 cases, followed by Penampang (14), Papar (13), Tuaran (13), Kota Belud (9), Lahad Datu (7), Putatan (7), Tawau (5) and Telupid (5).
“Nine districts did not record any new infections,” he said in a statement, Tuesday.
Masidi said 110 out of 115 cases were category one and two infections, while two cases were each in category three and four while one case was in category five.
No deaths or new clusters were identified.
