Sabah Rubber Industry Board contributes RM2 million to State

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Rubber Industry Board (LIGS), an agency under the Sabah Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry, has handed over a contribution of RM2 million to the State Government.

The contribution was presented to the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, by LIGS General Manager, Sabdil Tanjong and LIGS Chairman, Datuk Edward Linggu, and board members during a courtesy visit at Menara Kinabalu on Tuesday.

According to Sabdil, the contribution amount increased by 33 per cent compared to last year’s RM1.5 million.

He said this contribution is based on LIGS’s good financial performance in 2023 and manifests LIGS’s spirit to share in the direction of developing Sabah.

Read more Meanwhile, Hajiji also received a courtesy call from the Consul of the Republic of Indonesia in Tawau, Aris Heru Utomo, at his office on Tuesday.

Aris, who previously served as one of the Directors of the Indonesian Republic’s Pancasila Ideology Development Agency, replaces Heni Hamidah.
