Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 caseload fell below the 100-mark to 94 cases on Tuesday from 101 the day earlier.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the last time the State recorded double-digit figures was on June 21 this year.
He said Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 38 cases, followed by Beaufort (8), Lahad Datu (8), Papar (7), Kota Marudu (6) and Tuaran (5).
“A far lower positivity rate of 6.51 per cent on Tuesday compared to 9.96 per cent the day earlier contributed to the decrease in cases despite the higher number of test samples.
“Ten districts did not record any new infections,” said Masidi in a statement, Tuesday.
He said 93 out of 94 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was in category four.
No deaths or new clusters were identified.
