Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s young athletes made Malaysia proud at the Muaythai Youth World Championships 2024 in Bangkok from September 11 to 20, bringing home an impressive tally of two golds, two silvers and one bronze.

Jenna Sheryca Dyna Aby Jasli, an SMK Bandau student, was elated with her gold medal.

Taking first place in the Junior 14-15 Female Wai Kru category, she said her family played a pivotal role in her journey.

“When I first started Muaythai, it was thanks to my sister, Quenny’s inspiration,” she told Daily Express.
