
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah ushered in 2025 with a new Head of State and answers to allegations concerning a “mineral scandal” implicating several leaders of the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition still pending from MACC.
Tun Musa Aman was appointed Sabah’s 11th Yang di-Pertua Negeri on Dec 17, 2024. His appointment was formalised during a ceremony at Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur, where Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar presented the official Instrument of Appointment.
AdvertisementAt the same event, Musa was conferred the prestigious Seri Maharaja Mangku Negara award, granting him the title “Tun.”
Born on March 30, 1951, in Beaufort, Musa, 73, holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Edith Cowan University, Australia.
