Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah State Farmers’ Organisation (PPNS) and Putrajaya Area Farmers’ Organisation (PPK Putrajaya) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish business cooperation, including exploring opportunities to market suitable PPK Putrajaya products in Sabah.
The partnership aims to establish business networks that create new opportunities and mutual benefits for both organisations.
The MoU was signed by PPNS Deputy Chairman Datuk Ng Loi Tect, LPP Sabah Deputy Director Mohammad Utung, PPK Putrajaya Chairman Datuk Ghazali Hassan and Federal Territories and Labuan LPP Director Jafrin Kaingud during a farewell dinner for Sabah Federal Secretary Datuk Mohd Razali Wahab, organised by PPNS at Promenade Hotel here.
The signing was witnessed by PPNS Chairman Datuk Mohd Nazri Abdullah and Mohd Razali.
In his speech, Nazri expressed appreciation for Razali’s contributions and dedicated service during his tenure in Sabah, describing him as a close friend.
He said Razali’s contributions to the state were greatly appreciated and expressed hope that their friendship would endure after his return to Kuala Lumpur.
Nazri also hoped Razali would continue visiting Sabah and not forget the state, reiterating his appreciation for his service and contributions.
Meanwhile, Razali said the event was a meaningful occasion as he prepared to retire after more than 32 years in the public service.
“I have held Sabah close to my heart since my first visit. It is a beautiful and vast state, blessed with harmony among its multiracial communities,” he said, while also thanking the Sabah Government for its close cooperation throughout his tenure, which had helped facilitate his duties and responsibilities in the state.
Razali, who previously served as Deputy Director-General of the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma), said his final official assignment was to attend the 150th Meeting of Menteris Besar and Chief Ministers in conjunction with the Conference of Rulers in Kuala Lumpur last Tuesday.
He described the opportunity to conclude his career with meaningful experiences and memories in Sabah as a fitting end to more than three decades in public service.
