Kota Kinabalu: Muslim youths in Sabah are encouraged to pursue higher Islamic studies, especially in the Middle East.

Yayasan Sabah Technical College (KTYS) Chief Executive Officer Samin Ongki said there is a lack of graduates in Islamic Studies in Sabah.

“So we are still in need (of these graduates) and as emphasised by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor, we encourage Sabah youths to study in the Middle East,”
