Kota Kinabalu: Sabahans captured two golds, one silver and one bronze in the Malaysia’s Strongestman and Strongestwoman 2024 competition held at Bandar Hilir, A Famosa in Melaka on Saturday.

Joyce Heng Shu Xia took the women’s open title with the maximum 40 points, six ahead of second placed Hurun Ain Hasan (34) from Johor followed by Aburamy Divya Darshini of Kuala Lumpur (31).

The other title was delivered by Charles Choo in the strongfit men event and silver from Flavia Manie Luntak in the strongest women’s under 70kg category, and she also won the bronze in the strongfit event.

Meanwhile, the gold medal won by Joyce was her second of the year following the win at the Thailand Strongest Man and Woman competition in February.
