KOTA KINABALU: Pakatan Harapan (PH) Secretary-General Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has confirmed that he has been tasked with coordinating seat negotiations involving PH, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Barisan Nasional (BN).
He said PH-BN talks are almost complete, with only a few seats left to be resolved to prevent clashes.
Saifuddin added that discussions with GRS are also moving forward, with several productive meetings held, including one with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor on Friday.
He explained that his role is to close the gaps and avoid overlapping claims, noting that all sides agree cooperation must reflect the voice of Sabahans.
While acknowledging Sabah’s political tensions, he stressed that negotiations are in their final stage, with each party putting forward claims based on their winning chances.
