Students of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28, Chandigarh, secured the second position in the Inter-School Folk Dance Competition held at Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur. The competition witnessed participation from several schools across the Tricity, making the achievement noteworthy. The students presented a vibrant and captivating performance of the Maharashtrian folk dance form Gondhal, reflecting the richness of Indian folk culture. Their graceful expressions, energetic movements, colourful costumes and excellent coordination earned appreciation from both the judges and the audience. The participants from Classes VII to X included Lovleen Kaur, Doyel, Somya, Bhavya, Aarna, Ishi, Deepinder, Aanya, Anjel, Saanvi, Kumud, Prajna, Lavanya and Vanshika. The principal, Anisha Ghuman, congratulated the teacher in-charge, Kavita Kumari, and the students on their achievement.
