• Saltburn Cricket Club have been forced to cancel a match after becoming embroiled in a finger-clicking scandal.
• Saltburn’s second team were due to face Marton’s second XI in a cup fixture on Wednesday, but have conceded the game after telling BBC Sport that they could not get enough players due to the “holiday season”.
• This concession comes just days after an alleged cheating scandal went viral, with Saltburn fielder Brian Devine accused of clicking his fingers to simulate an edge in order to fool the umpire into giving an opposition batter out.
