Kota Kinabalu: Technical Adviser (Forestry) to the Chief Minister, Datuk Sam Mannan said the carbon units mentioned in the Yayasan Sabah carbon deal with a company, Permian Malaysia Sdn Bhd, are only expected to be sold in 2023.
“However, Permian Malaysia Sdn Bhd has paid RM240,000 in advance, as ‘goodwill’ payment, to cover among others, the bank-guarantee or performance bond, services required from Yayasan Sabah and the miscellaneous costs, etc.
