Sammy Braybrooke could make Leicester City's matchday squad for today's clash with Bournemouth.
Braybrooke may be selected by manager Brendan Rodgers as he looks to compensate for injuries to Wilfred Ndidi and Papy Mendy, says the Leicester Mercury.
The 18-year-old has had an impressive few weeks, first helping England Under-19s reach the elite round of qualifying for next summer's European Championships before he was the star man in the midweek penalty shoot-out win over Bradford City in the Papa John's Trophy.
Braybrooke set up City Under-21s' second goal for Tawanda Maswanhise with an excellent defence-splitting pass, and then converted from 12 yards in the shoot-out.
Hailing from Wigston and a member of City's academy for more than a decade, Braybrooke has already caught Rodgers' eye previously. He was with the squad for the PSV Eindhoven double header last term, also featuring in the pre-season game away at OH Leuven after attending the summer camp at Evian.
