Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series is here, starting from as low as RM3,999.20

The latest Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series of tablets is finally official – featuring both the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and the Tab S12+. This new generation of Galaxy Tab S12 focuses on performance, long-lasting battery life, and the latest Galaxy AI, all built into the signature Galaxy Tab ultra-thin design while delivering a huge, beautiful display alongside its immersive sound system.

Plus, there are also exclusive creative and productivity apps for the Galaxy Tab S12 series of tablets, making the S Pen the perfect companion for your workflow.

The new Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra measures at only 5.1mm thin, and it is packed with a massive 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The Tab S12+ is also no slouch either, packing a 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display as well while also powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.

To cool the chip down and let your gaming session last as long as your schedule allows, they’re packed with a newly designed 3D Vapor Chamber that dissipates heat across the massive surface area of the tablet. And we can do it in all weather conditions too, since the Galaxy Tab S12 Series also comes with IP68-rated water and dust resistance.

The sound system now boasts 4-channel spatial audio on the existing 4-speaker system, two on each side. This further boosts immersiveness when enjoying any sort of audio on this massive tablet.

With such a large screen, the battery is also large as well. The Tab S12 Ultra comes with a 11,600mAh battery, while the Tab S12+ comes with a 10,600mAh battery. Both tablets are expected to last 23 hours and 21 hours respectively, and support 45W fast charging as well.

The Galaxy Tab S12 series will also come equipped with One UI 9 on top of Android 17, and it can also run all of the latest Galaxy AI features that we’ve come to expect. Thanks to the Galaxy Tab S12 series’ immersive screen, users can split the screen into up to three sections in Multi Window layout. Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ support up to seven times of OS upgrades and security patches.

Of course, it has Samsung DeX as well – and combined with the Book Cover Keyboard Slim, it becomes a makeshift productivity machine to get our work done on the go. There’s also an AI Key to bring forth your favorite AI assistant with just the press of a button.

Speaking of AI, the Galaxy Tab S12 series will also come with a six-month trial of Google AI Pro, providing expanded access to Google’s most capable AI models from day one.

Adobe Photoshop will also be included with the Galaxy Tab S12 series, the first for Android tablets. The interface is optimized for tablets, and S Pen support makes it more intuitive to move ideas from hand to screen. Photoshop includes AI-powered features, including AI Assistant and generative AI features powered by Adobe Firefly – like Generative Fill. Exclusively for the Galaxy Tab S12 Series, users receive four months of free access to the Photoshop mobile plan.

Notability will also be pre-loaded on Galaxy Tab S12 series. It’s an app that helps users capture their ideas, organize notes and build knowledge more efficiently with S Pen optimization and AI-driven study tools. There is a six-month free trial included, plus 20% off the first subscription.

The Galaxy Tab S12 series will be available starting from 7th October in Malaysia. It’ll be available in Gray and Silver color options.
