MANILA, Philippines — San Juan City will intensify security, traffic management, sanitation and emergency response measures at the San Juan City Cemetery ahead of the observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day, or Undas 2026.
The city government will deploy additional security personnel, traffic enforcers, sanitation teams and emergency responders throughout the Undas period, particularly during the extended weekend from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2, when an increase in cemetery visitors is expected.
Traffic management measures will also be implemented along Col. Bonny Serrano Avenue and surrounding streets to facilitate the movement of pedestrians and vehicles.
As part of its annual Oplan Undas preparations, the city government will strictly enforce cemetery regulations, including restrictions on firearms, bladed weapons, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs and gambling.
Loud sound systems, unauthorized vending, electrical connections without approval, and bicycles and motorcycles will also be prohibited inside the cemetery.
Visitors will be required to observe cleanliness, follow traffic and parking regulations, and cooperate with security personnel and cemetery authorities.
Visiting hours were previously set from 6 a.m. to midnight.
